The winning team consisted of Joanalyn V. Cadampog, Berk Stephen C. Cutamora, Rhanzel B. Eroja, Jezreel Chad G. Lumbab, and Aera Gabrelle E. Vitorillo. They developed Aegis, a health data platform that consolidates information into a single Vulnerability Score. Focused on dengue in Cebu City barangays, Aegis identifies the factors behind each score and provides interventions and projections for both individuals and hospitals. The platform enables stakeholders to better understand, communicate, and act on health risks by presenting data in a clear and accessible format.
The competition was organized by the ICT Industry Development Bureau of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in partnership with the Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Association of the Philippines (AAP). AI.DEAS for Impact promotes innovative AI solutions while addressing issues of ethics, privacy, and inclusivity, and provides students opportunities to enhance technical skills and connect with AI industry experts.
