The UP Cebu School of Management held its 1st MBAX: Graduate Research Forum on June 20, 2026 at the Learning Commons, featuring research presentations from Master of Business Administration (MBA) students on innovation, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making.
The forum explored a range of topics, including sustainable systems and infrastructure, human capital and organizational dynamics, digital transformation and technology adaptation, and finance, consumer behavior, and service systems. Research presentations examined contemporary issues in sustainable fisheries, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, employee well-being, financial inclusion, and public service delivery.
Alumni speakers also shared insights on the practical applications of their MBA research and its contributions to organizational initiatives and professional practice.
The event provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and perspectives on how research can inform decision-making and address emerging challenges across sectors.
