UP High School Cebu students delivered strong performances at the 66th Palarong Pambansa, held from May 24 to 31, 2026, in Agusan del Sur, as they represented the Central Visayas delegation and secured multiple medals across different events.
In Dancesport, Shadelle Niña D. Hernandez and Rhyss Rhafael E. Fajardo excelled in the Secondary Modern Standard Category, winning gold medals in the Tango and Quickstep events and adding four silver medals to their tally. Juliet Monique D. Rallos and John Andrew L. Codillo competed in the Latin-American Category, earning bronze medals in the Samba, Cha-cha-cha, and Rumba events under coach Mr. Jan Vincent Onipa.
In Artistic Gymnastics, Niño Joaquim Belecario claimed a bronze medal in the Men’s Cluster 3 Horizontal Bar event and contributed a silver medal in the team competition.
Their performances contributed to UP High School Cebu’s impressive showing in the national meet and added to Central Visayas’ overall medal haul.
