To strengthen understanding and ensure compliance with government procedures, the University of the Philippines Cebu held an orientation on procurement and disbursement processes last Friday, June 20, at the AVR-1. The activity was attended by administrative personnel from various colleges and units who are involved in the preparation of procurement and payment documents.
The orientation covered essential topics, including the Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP), preparation of Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders, guidelines on Cash Advances, and the steps involved in processing payments.
An open forum was also held, where representatives from the Accounting Office, Cash Office, Budget Office, Supply and Property Management Office, and the Bids and Awards Committee responded to questions and clarified procedures.
