The Commission on Higher Education, in cooperation with UP Cebu, hosted an Information Session on the UNESCO Asia Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education 2011.
Representatives from different agencies and industries gathered to talk about enhancing the quality of Philippine higher education. As we devote equal attention on our education system with that of our infrastructure, we would be strengthening the Philippines’ role in an interconnected global community. The enhancement of higher education can foster a closer cooperation and understanding between the Philippines and the rest of the world and would produce individuals that can be able to live and work in a diverse multicultural setting.
