- Must be able to run Windows 10 and Microsoft Office (for maximum compatibility)
- Must support a keyboard and also a stylus
- Screen size of at least 12” across
- Minimum of 8GB RAM
- Minimum of 128GB SSD
Additional Differentiating requirements that the Surface Pro has:
- 2736 x 1824 pixel screen resolution
- 10-point multi-touch touchscreen
- Aspect ratio 3:2 (for spreadsheets). This is an important differentiator since most laptops/tablets have 16:9 Intel Core i5 processor
- MiniDisplay port (another important differentiator since most laptops have HDMI)
- Windows 10 Pro (some laptops only have Window 10 Home)
