CVSC invites you to their API entitled “E-Journal Publishing: How Can UP Cebu Start and Sustain it’s Own E-Journal?” this 25 September 2019 at the AVR 1, UP Cebu from 8:30-3:30PM with guest speakers Dr. Gonzalo II Campoamor and Michael Noel Bonghanoy.
Dr. Gonzalo II Campoamor is the managing editor of Social Science Diliman and several academic journals. He is the Director of UP Diliman’s Research Dissemination Office, faculty member of UP College of Arts and Letters, and editor of CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Art. He has a PhD in History, with particular interest in cultural history.
Mr. Michael Noel Bonghanoy is an alumnus of the Creative Writing Program of the University of the Philippines Mindanao, graduating cum laude in 2005. He has worked for more than 3 years as a copyeditor and later senior manuscript reviewer for an international copyediting company based in Cebu from 2005 to 2009. He moved back to Davao to start working for the Office of Research as a University Researcher for Research Dissemination to serve as production and later managing editor for its publication Banwa, and over the years, he has been instrumental in instituting various events such as the International Conference on Agribusiness Economics and Management (ICAEM), the Science for Society Symposium, and the Inaugural Lectures Series. For his various contributions to the university, he has been awarded the Gawad Chanselor sa Pinakamahusay na Research, Extension, and Professional Staff (REPS) in 2016. Currently, he is a University Extension Specialist focusing on Knowledge Dissemination for the newly created Center for the Advancement of Research, development, and engagement in Mindanao (CARIM) of UP Mindanao.
