Cebu Business Incubator in I.T. or CeBu inIT is a Technology Business Incubator made possible by UP Cebu College and DOST.

It aims to create an environment where members of different sectors (e.g., academe, industry, government) and from different disciplines (e.g., scientists, engineers, business analysts) can cooperate to develop technological innovations which can be deployed to solve real problems. The TBI provides both office space and services, where technology based start-ups can be nurtured and given the knowledge and skills to succeed.

We offer two (2) types of spaces: the “Room” type and the “Cubicle” type.

“ROOM” type:

*Each unit range from 17.17 to 34.34 sqm

“CUBICLE” type:

*5 sqm area per cubicle

Target Clients

Target groups of the TBI are the enterprises that will meet the following criteria.

    Involved in value creation in new and emerging technologies

    Plan to utilize UP human resources and facilities to pursue its activities

    Seeking new or unique solutions to existing problems

Possible locators are technology startups, either a small company or special group within a larger company, which are involved in any of the following activities:

    Research and Development (R&D) of Innovations

    Product development for unique products

    Provide services supporting R&D such as development of open source software or consultation in IT project management / software engineering

How to Apply

Applicant shall first signify in writing his/her interest to locate in the TBI facility and shall submit the following requirements:

    Articles of Incorporation and/or Business Registration papers (optional for Startups)

    Business Plan/Concept and/or Feasibility Study

    Proposed use of the space detailing activities to be performed

    Latest audited financial statements (optional for Start-ups)

    List of References (e.g., clients and/or landlords)

    Business License-current year (optional for Start-ups)

Upon qualification and after passing through the Screening Committee based on submitted requirements,   qualified applicants shall be notified by TBI Management.
